Realex Payments announced today that it has been selected as the payment gateway partner for HSBC Merchant Services. The six year deal involves Realex Payments providing a fully managed gateway solution to HSBC Merchant Services new and existing client base.

The new offering, named Global Iris involves three key elements; the provision of a fully branded gateway for existing and new online and call centre businesses, the provision of dedicated corporate and SME sales support resources for HSBC Merchant Services teams and finally the provision of a dedicated customer support function.

The deal involves the following:

• Realex Payments providing a fully managed and branded gateway solution called Global Iris to HSBC Merchant Services new and existing clients.
• Realex Payments managing the migration of HSBC Merchant Services existing client book to the new service.
• The provision of a fully managed sales support function for Global Iris’ new business, focussed on growing the Global Iris book across all sectors and size of business.
• Ongoing managed customer support for all Global Iris clients; a dedicated team of integration and support experts dedicated to the ongoing management of Global Iris customers (both new and migrated).
